The Group Purpose : 6

Part 6

Event:

The Inner Group invokes the Light of the Ashram, and the Master D.K. directs his attention to the Group to impress an idea upon it.

The three Devas of the triadal Light have become “the atmosphere” within the sphere of Light of the Inner Group. Their presence nourishes the unfoldment of the triadal consciousness for the members of the Group — each Disciple benefits from this according to their station on the Path, though all benefit.

Dialogue:

1. The process of ideation that the Inner Group is currently engaged in is the Group’s Purpose. This process of Ideation is using the mind of the Group, and each one contributes to it by engaging their higher minds in it. Through this ideation work the new triadal state of consciousness is being created and anchored in the consciousness of the mental plane. Of course, other levels in the Ashram are also contributing to this new creation. The intention of this work is dual: One, to incorporate the state of consciousness of personality into the triadal state of consciousness; two, to place this state of planetary consciousness in a direct relation to the Divine Purpose for the planet.

The first part of the intention explains why it is so important that the Inner Group have Disciples in incarnation (that is, dwelling in personalities). Through these Disciples a surrendering of the personality state of consciousness to the triadal state of consciousness is taking place. This surrendering, even though it is happening within a small number of Disciples in incarnation, it will dramatically affect the state of consciousness of personality for all humanity.

2. How does the process of incorporating the state of consciousness of personality into the triadal state of consciousness happen?... What needs to be done by the Disciples in incarnation?

The process involves an acquiescence and an entrainment of the “lower” to the “higher”. The lower here are the three aspects of the personality state of consciousness. To these, the Disciple gives a new rhythm so that each of them becomes a harmonic of one of the three aspects of the triadal state of consciousness.

This process is all about the imposition of a new frequency in the movements in consciousness of the three levels of the personality. Their rhythm entrainment into the triadal state of consciousness follows these lines:

Personality State of Consciousness   Triadal State of Consciousness
Activity Consciousness ‹--› Spiritual Will Consciousness
Feeling Consciousness ‹--› At-One-ment Consciousness
Thinking Consciousness ‹--› Ideation Consciousness

It is very important to realize that in this process nothing is being eliminated or destroyed. The personality consciousness does not disappear. It becomes a sub-set of the triadal state of consciousness in a relation in which the triadal levels of consciousness are causative and the personality levels are effects.

It is also important to realize that activities, feelings and thoughts are in themselves effects. Their source and driving power is that state of consciousness we call “personality”. This state of consciousness is rooted in a sense of identity which pretends, wants and believes to be self-sufficient and separated from all else in the Universe. It is this state of separative identity which needs to be absorbed by a new state of consciousness rooted in a sense of identity which is at-one with the all-encompassing reality of the One Life.

The work, therefore, that we need to do is basically in consciousness. It is not a change of activities, feelings or thoughts. Our activities, feelings and thoughts will be different when their source and driving power is that new state of consciousness of universal, timeless and unbound identity called the Initiate’s consciousness or triadal consciousness.

This is all new, especially for the Disciples in incarnation. This is why it may now seem complicated. However, when we get the idea of how to relate the two states of consciousness, living will be seen easier and more fulfilling and effective than using the old ways.

3. Why are we speaking of “ideating a new state of consciousness” when the triadal consciousness also entails two other levels?

Ideation is a higher mental activity, beyond thought-making, that uses the creative imagination to bring forth into the light of consciousness a new state of consciousness or identity-consciousness. For the identity that each one of us is now, this new state of consciousness has to have a meaning and be intelligently related to other aspects of our current identity if one’s identity is to be translated into this new one. In a sense, the process of ideating the new state of consciousness is what brings the at-one-ment of the personality state of consciousness with the triadal state of consciousness.

The pivotal point of this new creation is ideation, and Ideation has to do with new consciousness, with identity and with the translation of the seat of identity to the newly created state of consciousness.

4. Suggested work:

Ponder on the exercise of...

Spiritual Will Power ... versus ... the impulse to act to accomplish things.

Universal Awareness ... versus ... the use of feeling to relate to others.

The Power of Ideation ... versus ... the building of thoughts to manifest new creations.

Journal Note:

The words, identity and ideation, both come from the same Greek root: idein which means, to see.
